TJ started his career with the East Bethel Fire Dept back in 1987. Today he is a Fire Chief who has dedicated 20+ years to firefighting and training firefighters. He adores his wife of 23 years and they are the proud parents to three beautiful and independent daughters. TJ is a loyal friend and neighbor to many. When time allows, TJ enjoys watching his daughters play softball and spending time with his Fire Dept Family.

The Stacy Lent Fire Department is committed to providing responsible service in an open, effective and efficient manner to all citizens of the local and area community. The ultimate goal is to preserve and enhance the quality of life for future generations. The mission of the Fire Department is to minimize loss of life and property from fires, natural disasters and life threatening situations and to assist other emergency agencies. TJ and his crew are dedicated to fulfilling this mission with every call they respond to!

Join us in celebrating TJ as the Hero of the Month for being a man of courage and honor who serves his community. If you were inspired, we encourage you to volunteer, donate, bring paracords to your community, or nominate a firefighter (or burn survivor) who deserves to be recognized as a hero.
