Adam Graves is a firefighter, husband, father and friend to many. Proud of his heritage and community, he finds ways to volunteer that show how much he cares. As the Fire Motor Operator with Minneapolis Fire he leads his crew with confidence. He has learned over the years what matters and how to help the rookies, motivate the middle years and honor the legends. He plays competitive softball, loves to fish, spend time with his family and volunteers in his community!

Bringing Joy, Hope & Love.

Two year old Alaina is a typical toddler who is curious and on-the-go. Her eyes light up when she is excited and she gives the warmest hugs. She loves to twirl, play and dance. She loves when you sing, read a book to her and cuddle. Alaina is also a burn survivor with a great support network that includes mom, grandma and her Hennepin Healthcare medical teams. She will have many procedures and surgeries ahead of her but we are confident that her positive attitude will help her every step of the way.

Hero of the Month - October 2021

Chief Boettcher served the Oshkosh community for 35 ½ years. He worked his way up through the department holding the positions of Firefighter/Paramedic, Equipment Operator, Lieutenant, Training Officer, Captain, and Battalion Chief. He was known as being a stickler for details, especially when it came to the safety of everyone on the scene. He was a role model and mentor to those who followed him into the fire service.
